Doctor Who marks a new era with a new logo and sound
The famous British science-fiction television program, Doctor Who, has unveiled a new multimedia logo animation as they bring in Jodie Whittaker on board as the Thirteenth Doctor, the first actress to take on that role.
“The Doctor Who logo and insignia are the quintessential signifier for the brand,” Rafaela Perera, BBC Worldwide executive creative director, said. “Our aim was to create modern and elegant designs that are anchored in the things that we love most about Doctor Who.”
To hear how the sound design supports the visual design, you can watch the animation both with your speakers on, then turn them off and watch again.
